Ana Rapoport has been working as midwife in the Bay Area since 2016. Born in Russia and raised in CA, Ana discovered her potion for midwifery after first becoming a doula. Her educational journey included a move to the east coast. Ana was hired by Kaiser Walnut Creek shortly after graduation and continues to work for Kaiser, both in the clinic and hospital settings. In addition to Kaiser work, Ana is very involved in the midwifery community. She presently serves on the board of the California Nurse-Midwives Association as the Social Media Co-Chair, a Northern California Regional Representative, and locally she is the co-chair of the Bay Area Chapter of the CNMA. Prior to becoming a board member of the CNMA, Ana helped to organize the CNMA annual meeting and participated in legislative efforts. When not working Ana enjoys being outdoors with her husband and dog, exercising, knitting, reading and cooking.
